The EAP01 Emergency Announcement Point is housed in an IP65 vandal resistant, lockable wall mounted enclosure. It is normally used for making All-Call emergency announcements to entire facilities.
The unit features indicators for ‘Busy’, ‘Speak Now’, and ‘System Fault’, together with a ‘Status’ indicator. The EAP01 will operate in an All-Call mode even in the event of processor failure within the Router1, as required by BS5839 Pt.8. The unit should be connected to Router’s inputs 1 or 2, which operate in the All-Call failsafe override mode in the event of processor failure.

ASL MPS01 Zone selection microphone
The ASL MPS01 is a zone selection microphone. This is the base unit, it has no zone selection buttons. If you then want to build on with buttons for zone selection, it is possible to build on with more keypads (10 per module). Via the buttons, you choose in which zones the sound should be played.
The MPS01 is equipped with a gooseneck microphone that is 260mm long. A muffler sits on the microphone to muffle some unwelcome noises. The display shows the current status and you can navigate through the menus via the touch buttons. To make an announcement, hold down the blue button “TTT” touch to talk and wait for the go-ahead in the display. It is possible to start and stop pre-recorded messages. This model is a tabletop microphone but an accessory is available to make it a wall mounted version.

It consists of a sloping desk console with a flexible gooseneck paging microphone, graphic LCD display, and silent operation ‘Touch to Talk’ touch pad PTT button. PA zone selection is provided by the Select buttons or by using the rotary selector and graphic LCD display. There is also a VU bar-graph which displays the microphone signal level.
