ATOLL ELECTRONIQUE PH200

Overview

The phono preamplifier PH200 has two low-noise toroidal transformers, one per channel. A steel shell electrically connected to the chassis fully shields the power supplies to avoid parasitic radiation. This shell, as well as the filter capacitors and the chassis, are treated against mechanical vibrations using a specifically adapted material. Operating consumption remains less than 2W. The printed circuit board has a chemical gold nickel finish, which optimizes signal transfer. The masses are routed in a star pattern to ensure perfect power supply noise rejection.

The PR200 Signature is part of ATOLL’s range of preamplifiers and power amplifiers. This preamplifier represents the modularity and power ATOLL wants to promote: a wide range of combinations and a considerable source of improvements.

ATOLL ELECTRONIQUE PR400 SIGNATURE

Overview

The PR400 Signature works in double mono, one low noise transformer per channel. Potentiometer, regulator, input and output relays are also separated. Each input capacitor is shielded in a metal box linked to the ground. They are a total of 55’000µF per channel. The ALPS potentiometers are controlled by the microprocessor separately. Audio stages are based on discrete components schemes with low feedback.

MM/MC Phono Stage

Overview

This solid-state phonostage features passive RIAA preamplification, an external PSU, and settings for impedance, capacitance, and gain

Completely developed in-house by Pathos in Italy, the In The Groove has a linear power supply in separate housing for the lowest possible noise floor. Impedance and capacitance can be set with knobs on the front panel, and a gain setting is available on the rear. The In The Groove offers balanced XLR or unbalanced RCA outputs.

Entirely handmade in Italy.

PATHOS INCONTROL MKII

Stereo preamplifier Pure Class A

Overview

The natural partner of the InPower MkII power amp, the InControl MkII is a fully balanced differential design using Tung-Sol ECC803S tubes. It uses the same big, clean VFD display as the InPol series, and the large aluminum volume knob offers 100 steps of high-precision, high dynamic range attenuation. The on-board headphone amp supplies 2 W at 32 ohm to drive most headphones on the market.
