The C646 features Proficient’s best 6? inch woofer, with a super stiff cast magnesium frame and a cone made from Kevlar fibre – the same material they use for bulletproof vests!
Kevlar can’t stretch, so it’s highly resistant to distortion and it can play really loud all the way down to 32Hz. The rugged 1 inch, pivoting aluminum tweeter perfectly complements the Kevlar woofer. An incredibly high 92dB sensitivity means the C646 needs only about one-third the power of a typical speaker.
Combine that with 150 watt power handling and you get a truly rock-ready speaker that will get any party guest dancing. Switches behind the grille boost the bass and/or treble by 3dB for easy fine-tuning.
