Behringer X AIR X16 DIGITAL MIXER

Behringer X Air XR16 is a professional-grade 16-input digital mixer engineered to bring modern, flexible mixing power to live sound, studio work, broadcast, houses of worship, and portable PA systems — all in a compact, rack-mountable stage-box design. Combining high-quality audio performance with intuitive wireless control and advanced signal processing, the XR16 redefines what a digital mixer can do for both seasoned engineers and mobile sound teams.

At its core are 8 award-winning MIDAS-designed, fully programmable mic preamps, delivering transparent, low-noise sound that rivals much larger consoles. This ensures pristine audio capture for vocals, instruments, and microphones under demanding live or studio conditions. Integrated tri-mode Wi-Fi enables you to mix from anywhere in the venue — adjust levels, EQ, dynamics, effects, and more right from your iPad, Android tablet, laptop, or desktop without being tethered to a physical control surface.

The XR16 includes a 40-bit floating-point DSP engine with near-zero latency and virtually unlimited dynamic range. Each channel provides full processing tools — including low-cut filters, compressor, limiter, gate, and a deep four-band EQ — giving you professional control over every sound source. A 100-band Real-Time Analyzer (RTA) on all channels and bus EQs offers precise visual feedback for surgical frequency shaping.

One of the standout features is the onboard X32 effects rack, offering four true-stereo multi-effects processors loaded with high-quality reverbs, delays, modulation effects, and more — including simulated models of classic studio units like the Lexicon 480L and PCM70. All effects run inside the XR16’s DSP environment, reducing the need for external hardware or taxing your computer during mixing sessions.
