Behringer X AIR X18 DIGITAL MIXER

The Behringer X AIR X18 is a compact yet powerful 18‑channel, 12‑bus digital mixer designed for musicians, producers, and live sound engineers who demand flexibility, portability, and professional-grade audio quality. Built to integrate seamlessly with tablets and computers, the X AIR X18 transforms the way you mix by combining cutting-edge digital technology with wireless control, making it ideal for both studio recording and live performance environments.

At its core, the X AIR X18 features 16 award-winning MIDAS-designed microphone preamps, ensuring pristine sound capture with exceptional headroom and clarity. These preamps are renowned for their warm, transparent audio quality, making them suitable for everything from vocals and acoustic instruments to drums and electric guitars. Alongside the mic inputs, the mixer provides 2 line-level inputs, giving you a total of 18 input channels to accommodate a wide range of sources.

One of the standout features of the X AIR X18 is its integrated Wi-Fi module, which allows you to control the mixer wirelessly using a tablet, smartphone, or laptop. This means you can walk around the venue or studio, adjust levels, tweak EQs, and manage monitor mixes in real time without being tethered to the console. The free X AIR app (available for iOS, Android, Mac, and PC) provides an intuitive interface for managing all aspects of the mixer, from channel processing to effects routing.

The X AIR X18 also doubles as an 18‑in/18‑out USB audio interface, making it a powerful tool for recording sessions. You can capture multi-track recordings directly into your DAW with zero-latency monitoring, turning the mixer into a versatile hub for both live and studio work.

For processing, the mixer includes a suite of studio-quality effects, such as reverbs, delays, compressors, and EQs, all powered by Behringer’s advanced digital signal processing. Each channel features a 4-band parametric EQ, dynamics processing, and high-pass filter, giving you precise control over your sound. The mixer also offers 6 aux buses for monitor mixes or external effects, plus LR main outputs and a dedicated headphone output.

Despite its compact footprint, the X AIR X18 is built to handle demanding professional applications. Its rugged design ensures durability, while its lightweight form factor makes it easy to transport for gigs, rehearsals, or mobile recording setups.
