  • Give your Russound A-BUS multi-room system more remote control flexibility. The 845.1 connects to the A-CB4iR IR Output jack. It has a Micro-Emitter on one end, which can direct an IR signal to an IR-controllable source component. It includes an adhesive pad that makes it possible to stick the emitter directly over the component’s IR sensor. 
  • If your A/V system uses a “system remote” cable that connects the various same-brand components together (such as with JVC CompuLink or Sony Control S), you may need just one IR emitter. However, if your system doesn’t use a “system remote” cable, you may need a separate emitter for each source component.

The 845.1 IR Micro-Emitter transfers infrared commands to a single audio-video component or other device. Its head attaches to the component?s IR sensor with an adhesive pad. The emitter?s cable plugs into an emitter jack on a multiroom controller or hub, or an IR connecting block such as the Russound 857 or IRB-6.
