- These sturdy metal enclosures meet or exceed 1-hour fire ratings for use in multi-unit dwellings and whenever speakers are mounted in firewalls; they will contain fire, gas, smoke, and heat within the enclosure for up to one hour.
- Not only do they allow residential contractors to meet building codes but they also diminish the transfer of sound through the walls from one room to another.

- The FB10 enclosure exceeds the one-hour fire test in accordance with the applicable requirements of ASTM E119, Standard Test Methods for Fire Tests of Building Construction and Materials, 2015.
- A dense metal build and a metal tie off for suspended installation make this the perfect sound enclosure for meeting building codes while reducing sound transfer between rooms and floors.
