Immersive sound from a stylish duo

The Loewe klang bar5 mr and sub5 give you everything you need for enveloping, home cinema sound from just two, stylish boxes. The soundbar’s multi-speaker array includes centre, rear-firing and up-firing speakers for enveloping Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatibility. A separate subwoofer delivers the bass to match. Thanks to DTS Play-Fi you can also expand to surround sound or use within a multiroom system. Comprehensive connectivity and streaming complete this talented soundbar.

Surrounded by sound

Featuring up-firing and rear channel (mounted at the sides) drivers, the bar5 mr delivers convincing surround sound. When combined with the subwoofer, you get 5.1.2 surround sound for a truly three-dimensional soundstage. This speaker array makes the bar5 mr fully compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, giving you that immersive, cinema sound.

Powerful and punchy subwoofer

Rather than using one, large bass cone, the klang sub5 features a multi-speaker array for fast and punchy sound. Two, 6” active drivers are paired with four, 6” passive drivers, placed all around the circumference of the sub. Smaller drivers are faster to respond, giving a punchier sound than some larger subwoofers. The ring of drivers also helps disperse the sound more evenly around your room.

Centre channel for the clearest dialogue

As well immersive surround sound channels, the klang bar5 mr also features a built-in centre channel. This is designed to ‘anchor’ speech to the centre of your TV’s screen, making it sound much clearer and easier to follow.

DTS Play-Fi for surround sound upgrade

Featuring DTS Play-Fi, it’s possible to add wireless rear speakers to the klang bar5 mr and enjoy further enhanced surround sound. The powerful control app lets you pair the soundbar with compatible rear speakers, giving you direct sound from behind. For the most harmonious system, we’d recommend pairing with the klang mr1, mr3 or mr5 speakers.

Multiroom potential

Another advantage with DTS Play-Fi is that it also offers the potential for multiroom music. Use the Play-Fi app to control all your compatible speakers around your home – they don’t even have to be Loewe branded. Play different music in each zone or the same music throughout your home, the choice is yours.

Effortless music streaming

The third benefit with DTS Play-Fi is comprehensive music streaming options. You not only get access to Internet radio but also popular music apps such as Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music and Napster. It’s all here, for near limitless music.

Google Chromecast, AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth, for the complete networking experience

As well as DTS Play-Fi, the klang bar5 mr also offers a wide range of other music streaming options. Built-in Google Chromecast lets you stream Hi-Res Audio music from your chosen Android device. With Google Play Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music HD, Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, Qobuz and many others available, you’ll never be without music. Alternatively, this Loewe soundbar is compatible with Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth – covering your every streaming music requirement.

Works with Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri voice assistants

Compatible (not built-in) with Amazon and Google voice assistants, the klang bar5 mr integrates with your voice-operated household. If you prefer to use the Apple system, AirPlay 2 compatibility facilitates the use of Siri, too.

All the connections you need

With three HDMI sockets (HDMI out includes eARC) it’s easy to link the soundbar to both your TV and sources, such as a games console and Blu-ray player. The USB interface is ideal for connecting a media device and playing back videos, music and photos. A digital optical input is also included.
