Unlike conventional single cable extenders, there is no limitation on resolution support – the maximum bandwidth of 10.2Gbps supports all video and audio modes in the current HDMI specification.

The PLX-HDB.4 was designed with the custom installer in mind. It features Power Over Ethernet (POE), allowing the receiver unit to be powered from the transmitter unit. Convenient mounting tabs allow for vertical installation, while clearly labeled connections are located at the rear of the units. A simplified front display gives feedback on all essential connection information.
