Featuring dual 1″ aluminum oxide dome tweeters and an 8″ BDSS (Balanced Double Surround System) woofer, the DC-80 MAX SUR is crafted to emit distortion-free highs, robust and punchy lows, with an even and crisp midrange. A linear response waveguide keeps the midrange sound natural and open with both on-axis and off-axis frequency dispersion. This sound can conveniently be directed to accommodate more installation options, thanks to both the tweeters and woofer capable of pivoting to face the listening sweet spot.

Easy Toolless Installation

The two-part design makes installation easy, quick, and something that can be done without tools. The integrated frame and baffle rest in a ceiling flush and border-free, taking advantage of a micro-perforated magnetic grille that’s paintable, letting the DC-80 MAX SUR virtually disappear from view.
